Residents and community groups can participate in litter picks all year round. To help with this, you can borrow litter picking equipment from us. Contact us to request litter picking equipment.

The Big Litter Pick 2020

In the 2019 Big Litter Pick initiative, over 100 litter picks took place with more than 2000 volunteers taking part.

Each spring, we work with communities and community groups to help reduce litter in South Norfolk by asking them to take part in the Big Litter Pick. This initiative encourages communities to work together to keep their villages or towns clean and tidy.

The 2020 scheme is open from the start of February until the end of May. If you would like more information or to participate in the scheme, please email litterpick@s-norfolk.gov.uk

We provide litter pickers, hi-vis vests and refuse sacks - to see if equipment is available please open the litter pick calendar. This is only an indication of availability - we will confirm amount of equipment when booking.

When your event is complete your group will be entered into the prize draw to win £200.
