Norfolk Day World Record Attempt

Do you want to be a record breaker?

Hop over to Whitlingham Country Park on Friday 27 July for some family fun and you could get yourself into the Guinness Book of Records.

It's the UK's first Norfolk Day and to celebrate we will be attempting a world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as hares.

Join us from 1pm - 2pm in front of the visitor centre.

You'll need:

  • Any rabbit/hare ears
  • Tail
  • 12 whiskers (painted/drawn)

Why not get creative and make your own ears with a headband or a paper plate and a tail from an empty cereal box and wool?

There'll be a best dressed hare competition with a fantastic prize of a family boat trip!

Make a day of it and come along from 11am - 3pm for the Totally Broads Family Fun Day. They'll be plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy, including trails, treasure hunts, face painting, wildlife, craft activities, lake dipping, meet the rangers and more.

This is a free event with a parking charge.
