South Norfolk Council has voted to investigate the potential of creating closer collaborative working arrangements with Broadland District Council, while at the same time maintaining individual council sovereignty.

Council Leader John Fuller said. “These are early days in the process and we expect to take four to six months to complete the initial investigations. Working with members, officers will produce a feasibility study looking at opportunities to drive economic and housing growth and improve the quality of life and service delivery for residents, while at the same time building capacity and resilience for both councils.”
