Joint Core Strategy

We worked with Broadland District Council, Norwich City Council and Norfolk County Council as part of the Greater Norwich Development Partnership (GNDP) to produce and adopt a Joint Core Strategy (JCS).

The JCS sets out the overarching strategy for growth across the three districts to 2026. It identifies key locations for housing and employment growth and sets out policies to ensure that future development is sustainable.

The JCS was adopted in March 2011, with amendments relating to housing growth in Broadland, adopted in January 2014. The JCS forms part of the South Norfolk Local Plan.

The Greater Norwich Growth Board website provides further information and background documents relating to the JCS. Find out more about the review of the JCS
