We are currently carrying out a number of conservation areas appraisals to review the 52 conservation areas in South Norfolk.
Conservation area appraisals define the importance of the area in terms of its character and appearance. They also assess whether the boundaries are up-to-date, recommend amendments and set out conservation management guidelines for the area’s management and enhancement.
The Council is also currently consulting on six conservation area appraisals and proposed boundary changes for six conservation areas: Burston, Forncett, Gissing, Thorpe Abbotts, Winfarthing and Wramplingham.
The consultation period is running from 15th February until 15th March.

Officers will also be attending virtual Parish Council Meetings via Zoom to present the appraisals and answer any questions on the following dates:
