Big South Norfolk Litter Pick 2018
South Norfolk is a great place to live and we want to make it even better.
Each spring, we work with communities and community groups to help reduce litter in South Norfolk by asking them to take part in the Big Litter Pick. This initiative encourages communities to work together to keep their villages or towns clean and tidy.
In the 2017 Big Litter Pick initiative, 82 litter picks took place with over 900 volunteers involved.
The Big Litter Pick 2018 runs from 1 February to 31 May 2018! All community groups taking part will receive £20 to spend on their community. 20 groups will also be randomly selected to receive £200 to also spend in their community.
Contact us for more information or to book a date.
Please check your chosen date is available by checking the litter pick calendar below.
The competition runs from 1 February to 31 May 2018.
To be entered into the prize draw to win £200 (four prizes of £200 per neighbourhood area are available), your community group, charity or school must complete a litter pick and return the information requested in the promotional pack.
All names will be placed in the prize draw and four winners for each area will be randomly drawn by an independent witness. The results will be published on our website and winners will be notified within 7 days of the draw taking place (date of draw: 1 June 2018).
All entries must be by or on behalf of a recognised community group or charity.
We cannot pay any prize draw money to an individual without details of the community group or initiative that will benefit.
We can only accept one entry per group for the prize draw.
We request that any award is spent for the communal benefit of the group, charity, school or community and may ask for information as to how it is spent for use in promotion.
