Noise and other complaints

We will investigate any issues that are affecting the use and enjoyment of your home in South Norfolk such as complaints about noise, smell, light, dust, smoke or chemical substances.

You can often find that people aren't aware they are causing any issues to their neighbours, so we would also advise you to discuss with the person causing you an issue in the first instance.

We appreciate that each case is different, and we may ask you to provide additional information such as using the Noise App or completing monitoring forms detailing times, dates and how you are being affected.

Once we have this additional information we will review it and conduct a visit should they suggest a potential issue. In some cases, such as noise issues, we may ask you to install monitoring equipment in your property.
