Elections to a Parish Council take place at scheduled intervals. If a vacancy occurs between those scheduled elections, a by-election may take place to fill that vacancy.

There is a by-election to elect town councillors to fill vacancies at Costessey Town Council for the Old Costessey ward. This election is scheduled to take place on Thursday 6 May 2021.

Deadline for receiving applications to be added to the electoral register Monday 19 April
Deadline for receiving new postal vote and proxy postal applications, and for changes to existing postal or proxy votes 5pm on Tuesday 20 April
