A community governance review was undertaken between 20 March 2017 and February 2018.
Following the first phase of consultation responses received were discussed at the Electoral Arrangements Review Committee held on the 15 August 2017.

The Electoral Arrangements Review Committee met on the 29 November 2017 at South Norfolk House. The agenda and minutes of this meeting can be seen here.
Full Council met on 19 February 2018 to consider the EARC's committee recommendations and make its final decision. The agenda and minutes of Full Council can be seen here.

Two consultation periods were held during the review, the first ran from 20 March - 12 July and the second 31 August - 27 October.
Prior to the first phase of consultation details of the review were published in the Spring edition of the Link Magazine and all Parish Chairman were invited to meetings to discuss the upcoming review and what it meant for their Parishes. Before both consultation periods all the Parish Clerks, County & District Councillors and MP's along with over 130 community groups across the district were contacted notifying them that the consultation periods were beginning.
Throughout the review we have published press releases and continued to make use of social media with the aim of reaching as many residents as possible.
Residents and Councils were asked to submit their responses via an online survey, by email and by post.
