Car parks

We own 16 off-street car parks, providing nearly 900 spaces in Diss, Wymondham, Harleston, Loddon and Long Stratton. Download a full list of the car park locations.

We operate pay and display car parks in Diss, Wymondham and Loddon.

Please be aware that we do not treat the surfaces of our car parks during cold weather.

From the 3 April 2017, some of our car parking designations and charges will be changing. Our car parks will now be designated as short term parking or long term parking with differing fees.

The first hour of parking will still remain free (except in Loddon where the first two hours are free).

  2. Download the permit application form
  3. Read the permit holder notes
  4. Download and complete the Direct Debit form (if you wish to pay using this method)
  5. Send the completed form with your fee or direct debit form by email or by post to Parking Services Manager, South Norfolk Council, South Norfolk House, Cygnet Court, Long Stratton, Norwich, NR15 2XE.

Criteria for permit holders

From April 3, 2017 we will be specifying the qualification for a residents car park permit. In order to qualify, you must have no parking facilities at your permanent address and that address must be within 500 metres of the car park in question. These boundaries and the streets they cover can be found below. Outside of this boundary, each case will be considered on its merits, but will generally be considered as a non-resident permit, requiring our Long Stay car parks to be used.
