Booking now open for Christmas holiday activities

Lots of festive fun is on offer this Christmas holiday, at Broadland Council’s Tots2Teens holiday club.

Young people aged 5-16 living or attending a school in the Broadland Council area can enjoy a wide range of activities, including crafts, baking and sports.

Assistant Director of Individuals and Families, Mike Pursehouse, said:

“These activities give parents and carers time to squeeze in last minute Christmas preparations and offer working parents a helping hand with childcare.”

Young people can get crafty making Christmas tree decorations, wreaths, stockings, festive bunting and their very own snow globe. There’s also a chance to make natural woodcraft items, including whittled tree decorations and a reindeer to take home.

Keen bakers can have a go at making European Christmas market inspired treats and creating a beautiful gingerbread house.

For sporty types, there’s an indoor multisports day, where young people can try their hand at tennis, athletics, tri-golf and benchball.

Tots2Teens is also offering subsidised theatre tickets for performances at the Norwich Playhouse, including The Little Match Girl, The Lock In: Christmas Carol and an adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s popular Room on the Broom. There are also discounted rates available at Norwich Puppet Theatre for Beastly Belle and Hansel and Gretel.
