We encourage you to pay by Direct Debit, as this is the quickest, safest and most cost effective way to pay for your Council Tax, Business Rates and many other services such as your Brown Bin.
It also helps to spread the cost of the service and you’re covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Use our secure online payment facility to pay by credit or debit card for Council Tax, business rates, Housing Benefit overpayments, temporary accommodation and invoices (including garden brown bins).
We no longer accept Ping-it payments through our website, however you can still make payments through your Ping-it App. Search for South Norfolk Council and quote the appropriate Account Reference or Invoice Number.
You can pay for a range of services such as Council Tax, business rates, Housing Benefit overpayments, temporary accommodation and invoices (including garden brown bins) using a debit or credit card over the telephone. Simply call our automated payment line 0808 178 7146 which is free to call and is open 24 hours a day.
