Review of car park charges
Summary
If you use any of our market town car parks, and you've been following the debate about charges, then this information will be of interest to you.
At the moment, we charge for parking in the market towns of Diss and Wymondham, while parking in Loddon and Harleston is free. But this situation is under review (February/March 2008).
Here is the Head of Finance & Property Services' report to Cabinet on 10 September 2007. It explains how much we will need to spend to make all our car parks meet excellent standards. The appendix to this report has a summary of the income and expenditure at our car parks over the last few years.
