Find out what decisions have been made on planning applications

You can search the Planning Explorer by address, parish or ward - or use the specific application reference number if you know it. Then choose 'Decided - Final Decision' from the Status pull-down list and do your search.

Where a decision has been made on a planning application, the formal Decision Notice will be available to download. First find the application you're interested in, then click on the View related documents link at the foot of the page.

Search by the type of appeal, its status (e.g. completed, decided, lodged, withdrawn) or look for appeals by specific address, parish or ward. We also publish a list of all the current appeals which you can download.

Read the Planning Officer's report to the Planning Committee on planning applications, plus the agenda for the meeting

If a planning application has been referred to a Planning Committee for a decision, the report will be in the meeting for the agenda. The three area Planning Committees - East, North West & South West - meet once a month and we publish the agendas and reports for meetings in our Committee papers section.
