Planning application fees

Summary

You will need to pay a fee before your planning application can be processed. The fee depends on a) the type of application you are making (e.g. Full Plans or Outline - see How to Submit a planning application), and b) the size of your proposed development (in square metres). Use the list of planning application fees to work out what your proposal will cost (see 'Downloads' below). Important!

Applications, plans and any documents or comments you send us are part of the public record and are available for any member of the public to see or have copies of. They will also be scanned and placed on our website in our online Planning Explorer.
