The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) outlines how we will consult with the people of South Norfolk and other stakeholders on major planning issues. This includes consultation on the documents that make up the Local Development Framework (LDF), and on dealing with planning applications.

Further information
An independent inspector, appointed by the Government, undertook an assessment into the ‘soundness’ of the SCI and reported back to the Council on 29th November 2006. A copy of the report is available in the 'Downloads' section above.
The South Norfolk SCI has been amended in accordance with the inspector’s recommendations and was adopted by the Council on 21st February 2007. Copies of the adopted SCI and the Adoption Statement are also available in the 'Downloads' section above. The Adoption Statement highlights the other locations at which the SCI can be viewed.
