Local Plan online
Summary
You can view our Local Plan online at the National Planning Portal, where you can zoom in and out of a district map, and show the different layers for types of land use and permitted types of development. The text of all the Local Plan policies is also available. If you would prefer to download maps and policy text from the Local Plan, visit Local Plan Part One: area-wide policies or Part Two: maps of towns & villages.
To view our Local Plan online...
- Follow the link for the 'General Public' (top-right of the page);
- Follow the link on the left for 'Local information';
- Follow the link that appears on the left called 'View development plans';
- Type in the town or village where you live. You may be asked to confirm your choice from a drop-down menu (if there is more than one place in the UK with the same name);
- You will get a messagesaying you areon the South Norfolk Local Plan page. Follow the the 'Local Plan' link on theleft of the page;
- Links to the foreword, introduction and topic areas will appear on the left hand side. Follow these links for the text of the Local Plan;
- Follow the link called 'Proposals map' at the bottom left of the page to open an interactive map of the South Norfolk district;
- The Proposals Map will open in a new browser window, and help text is provided by the Portal to help you use the various features of the map.
