Local Plan Part Two: maps of towns & villages
Summary
These are the Local Plan maps and policies for individual towns and villages in South Norfolk, showing land use (e.g. industrial, retail, residential etc.), development boundaries and where the Conservation Areas are. Download the map you're interested in by following the links below - they are ordered alphabetically by placename.
So you know what all the symbols, colours and shading in the maps mean, make sure you also download the Key to Symbols - this is at the top of the list below.
November 2007: Changes to Local Plan Policies
Because the Local Plan has not yet been replaced by the Local Development Framework (LDF), we have updated the Policies in the Local Plan to keep it relevant until the new scheme takes over. The policy changes are highlighted in the downloads below, but if you want to see a list of everything that's changed - and more information about why we have done it - see our page on Discontinued Local Plan Policies.
important!
The areas on the maps which are shown to be at risk of flooding (look for UTL 5 policy) are based on old Environment Agency floodplain maps. The Environment Agency have replaced their maps with more up-to-date flood zones, so please refer to the Environment Agency website for the most reliable flood risk information.
