Norwich Research Park (NRP) Development Framework Supplementary Planning Document
Summary
South Norfolk Council has adopted a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) to guide and co-ordinate development on land allocated in the South Norfolk Local Plan at the Norwich Research Park (NRP).
The NRP is an important part of the economy and employment land framework for the Norwich area and beyond. The land allocated in the South Norfolk Local Plan allows for expansion of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the various research institutes that make up the NRP, as well as for new users that complement the existing development. The Development Framework SPD aims to guide the further growth of the NRP as a centre of excellence in providing research and training, particularly in plant, food, health, environmental and climate sciences. The SPD also aims to ensure the NRP campus is an exemplar for the sustainable development of research and development parks.
The adopted Development Framework SPD can be downloaded below, along with the Adoption Statement, a summary of the issues raised during consultation and the supporting Appendices.
