This large timber-framed house is unoccupied and in need of substantial repair. It is situated adjacent to a large group of relatively modern farm outbuildings, which are all no longer in use.
Some cement render has been removed from the building and major structural repairs completed to the timber frame at the south gable for which formal consent was granted. Although further approved repairs have also been completed at the east elevation the building remains in a poor condition.
Listed building consent was granted in 2010 for a complete programme of restoration. However, to date no works have commenced and the building is currently for sale. Hopefully the restoration of the building can be completed under new ownership.
