This large timber-framed house is unoccupied and in need of substantial repair. It is situated adjacent to a large group of relatively modern farm outbuildings, which are all no longer in use.
Some cement render has been removed from the building and major structural repairs completed to the timber frame at the south gable for which formal consent was granted. Although further approved repairs have also been completed at the east elevation the building remains in a poor condition.
However, a listed building consent application to restore the building to a family home has recently been approved and it is anticipated that works will commence in the first quarter of 2010.
