The building is constructed in flint and brick and has a part rendered finish. It is situated on a farm site adjacent to a grade II listed barn, which is also on the register but is currently being converted to residential use.
The house has recently come under new ownership but is not occupied. It has suffered from a general lack of maintenance and neglect over the years. The rendered walls are in particularly poor condition with some of the render having come away. There have been some discussions with the new owners who intend to fully restore the building.
