Bellevue, Ringland Road, Easton
Grade II Listed
This is a thatched building that originally dates from the c16 and is a former open hall house. It is a timber frame construction built on top of a flint plinth and has rendered finish.
Much of the render is badly cracked and has fallen away from the walls in one or two areas. It is likely that parts of the timber frame require repairs.
The property is under new ownership. The c19 extension has been completely restored and some internal works have also been completed on the original house. Listed building consent has been granted for these works.
The structure still remains underthreat because of the poor condition of parts of the timber frame and wall fabric.
