This is a thatched building that originally dates from the c16 and is a former open hall house. It is a timber frame construction built on top of a flint plinth and has rendered finish.
The property looks as though it may be occupied for only part of the year and is showing signs of deteriotation. Much of the render is badly cracked and has fallen away from the building in one or two areas.
