Lodge Farmhouse, New Road, Bawburgh
Grade II* Listed
Dates from the early c17 with a large two-storey Victorian extension at the south side. It is constructed in red brick and has a clay pantile roof. The c17 part of the house has crows-stepped gable ends.
The building has been unoccupied for sometime and is boarded up at the ground floor. It has defective rainwater goods & ground drainage and the roof is also in need of repairs. The south gable is covered in dense vegetation with moss growth on some roof slopes. The property is up for auction and it is hoped that repair issues will be addressed under new ownership.
