Some of the brickwork is in poor condition and parts of the internal timber support structure have deteriorated. There is no record of ownership and therefore the building is likely to deteriorate further due to lack of maintenance.
The parish council have expressed an interest in taking on the custodianship and maintenance of the building. The Council is is considering the use of compulsory purchase powers to acquire the building in order to then pass it on to the parish council.
