Summary

Tree Wardens are volunteers who belong to a scheme started in 1990 by the Tree Council. Tree Wardens work within their own parishes, with our support and help.

Further information

Tree Wardens are involved with activities like gathering information about trees, liaising with local people about tree preservation & conservation, and practical projects. An example of a practical project is the planting we carry out every year in South Norfolk during National Tree Week, when we give Tree wardens plants they have requested to plant in their parishes.

Most parishes in South Norfolk have a Tree Warden, the attached document (above) gives you the full list.
