A very ‘people friendly’ gallery showing 50 specially selected East Anglian artists in a relaxed atmosphere. There is also a secluded area where Doreen runs her extremely popular pastel classes and workshops.

Have your portrait painted by our artist in residence Will Teather. Two and four day courses in watercolour, acrylic, oil and etching for beginners and intermediates. Learn African painting techniques with Peter Sek (Sainsbury Centre artist in residence last year).

Botanical Painting course with RHS Gold winner Irene Barkmann 4-7 June.

Learn the Peter Welton technique to gain intensity of colour 13-14 June.

Emulate landscapists outside in Norfolk with Neil Gardner 27-28 June.

Don’t forget to visit the Centre in the last weekends of May for the Open Studio scheme forming part of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival.

Come and have coffee to discuss art at 11am on Fridays.

Harleston Gallery is an independent gallery showcasing the work of local professional artists and makers. It is also the hub of the Harleston & Waveney Art Trail. The Gallery is a participating gallery within the Arts Council's ownart scheme, facilitating the sale of larger pieces of work by offering interest free credit over a 10 month period.

The Gallery boasts a café/bistro area on the ground floor, with three gallery spaces and gallery bar on the first floor.

We hold monthly exhibitions showing a rich mix of established artists and artists from the local community. Artists are invited to exhibit; however if anyone or any group wishes to submit images, a description of their work and an idea for an exhibition, they should contact admin@disscornhall.co.uk. If we are able to include you in our programme, we will send you appropriate forms for completion.

The Stables Gallery also acts as the Box Office for the Corn Hall, open from Monday to Saturday, 11am to 4pm, and is run by Corn Hall volunteers.

Waveney Springs Art Trail
The Waveney Springs Art Collective is a group of artists and makers living and working in an approximately 10 mile radius of Diss. Each year they hold an art trail in Diss, so people can come and view their work and get involved themselves. They also hold regular exhibitions and events.
