How to book a place at Swim School

If you are new to Swim School, you need to contact our leisure centres, where they will asses the swimmer's needs and allocate a competency level. You will be given a pupil ID and then can either book into a class online, or at the leisure centre.

For existing Swim School pupils, bookings can be made online before the new term starts (see below for details of the booking periods). If a pupil is graded as staying at the same stage, then please ensure you book within the specified ‘stayers’ timeframe to ensure a place within the same class for the new term.

Online booking for stayers will be available from 19 - 25 March

Online booking for movers will be available from 26 March - 8 April

We run the Swim School programme from our pools at Diss Swim & Fitness Centre and Wymondham Leisure Centre. (Swim School is available from Monday - Saturday).

National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS)

All our Swim School sessions form part of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) and all our teachers are certified with the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA). With the NPTS, children can take part in Swim Schools from just four months old. The NPTS is an all-inclusive programme which takes the non-swimmer from their first splash, all the time developing confidence and competence in the water.
