Diss Otters Club

Summary

Diss Otters Club logo

Diss Otters Club was formed in 1988 under the name of Waveney Otters, when the pool at Diss reopened after being converted from an outdoor to an indoor pool.

After a five month pool closure in 2002 the club name was changed from Waveney Otters to Diss Otters, partly to reflect a new start after the pool closure and partly to avoid confusion with Waveney Swimming Club.

If you would like to train in a 25 metre pool with full training equipment and a qualified swimming coach with a full coaching plan then come along to one of the sessions, or contact Katie Bull or Shirley Bull - see the ‘further information’ section. There are qualified swimming teachers and assistant teachers who teach to the National Teaching plan.

The Club won the silver award in the Swim21 programme.
