Activity classes
A wide variety of activities and clubs are on offer at Long Stratton Leisure Centre. There is something suitable for all ability levels and age groups. You could try badminton, basketball, 5-a-side football, netball, roller-skating, cricket, gymnastics or martial arts.
Fitness classes
Fitness classes are available during the daytime and in the evenings. Booking for these classes is essential and can be made either in person or by calling 01508 531444, seven days in advance from 8.00am.

Fitness class descriptions
20/20/20: A class which offers a great combination of cardiovascular and toning exercises. This incorporates 20 mins of step, 20 mins of varied aerobics and 20 mins of body conditioning exercises.
BLT: The ultimate toning class to target bums, legs and tums.
Cross training: A combination of aerobics, step, toning and floor work.
Freestyle Fitness Yoga: It’s a class that incorporates deep stretch, yoga and pilates exercise and is designed to target flexibility, core strength and relaxation.
Kettlebells: You'll learn Kettlebell routines to burn calories, improve stamina, improve muscle strength and endurance.
Kick Boxing: A fitness based class for all levels involving a combination of kick and punch moves to improve balance, fitness and co-ordination.
Indoor Cycling: This class is indoor-based, burns fat and calories, and builds stamina and fitness. Please bring a bottle of water and a towel and come prepared to sweat!
Tone Zone: An intense top –to- toe toning class which will help to blitz those important areas!
Total Tone: This intense toning class is suitable for men and woman. It will tone your body without increasing size.
Virtual/Beginner Cycling: This indoor cycling class enables the participant to work at their own level. A virtual instructor will give you guidance whilst touring through cities and countryside on the projector screen
Yogalates: A class combining Yoga and Pilates moves. Working on posture and core muscles to improve strength and flexibility.
Zumba: Zumba combines latin and international music in dance routines, featuring aerobic and fitness interval training done to a combination of fast and slow rhythms.
60+: This session covers cardiovascular exercising, toning and stretches, all helping to keep the muscles and joints supple. Badminton or Darts available after, for those who wish.
50/50: 30 minutes of indoor cycling followed by a mixture of studio based exercise.
