Arts-based school projects

Summary

Sailing boats made by children

Whenever possible we link with schools in the district to provide pupils with the opportunity of working with professional artists.

The benefits are:

  • they learn new skills in workshops to supplement the curriculum content;
  • they may get the chance to take part in an exhibition or performance, and;
  • we aim to inspire and interest young people in their heritage, their community and the countryside through the Arts.

This site also includes a database of artists working in a range of art forms who are resident in the UK. They have been selected for the quality of their work, skills, experience and commitment to working in formal and informal education in the East of England.
