Housing advice for homeowners
Summary
If you own your own home and are having difficulties, our Housing and Advice Team can offer:
- Advice with mortgage problems;
- Advice on housing options for the future;
- Referral to our Housing Renewal Team for help with maintaining or adapting your home;
- Referral to our Care and Repair Service if you are over 60 and need help in maintaining or adapting your home;
- Referral to the Broadland Energy team for information on energy efficiency, heating and insulation schemes;
- Referral to our Welfare Rights Advisor or to specialist advice agencies where there are debt problems.
For housing advice...
- Contact the Housing and Advice Team online, or by email, telephone or letter (our details are at the foot of this page);
- Or you can visit our Long Stratton office, Monday to Friday (not Bank holidays) between:
- 8:45am and 5:00pm Monday to Wednesday;
- 9:30 am to 5:00pm Thursday, and;
- 8:45am to 4:15pm Friday. - If you are homeless in an emergency outside these times you can telephone 01508 531277.
