Planning & brownfield sites
When we receive a planning application for development on previously used land (brownfield site) we usually ask for an assessment to be made of possible contamination. Any contamination found which might affect the proposed development is normally required to be cleaned up.
We've produced a leaflet that gives consultants advice and guidance on how to prepare contimanted land assessment reports. Download it by following the link under 'Downloads' above.
