Industrial pollution control
Summary
We regulate certain industrial and commercial processes under the Environmental Permitting (England & Wales) Regulations 2007. If you are an operator of one of these processes you need to obtain a permit from us in order to operate. If the application is successful, the permit will include conditions aimed at preventing pollution or reducing it to acceptable levels.
