Red & yellow attention cards

Summary

If you have received a red or yellow card it means that there was a problem with your bin and we could not collect it (e.g. the wrong types of waste were in your green or grey bin). Our collectors will have left you this card to explain why the bin has not been collected. If you have sorted the problem out and you would like your bin emptied, contact us.

How to get your bin emptied after getting a card

  1. Contact us online (link under 'Online forms' below), or by e-mail, telephone or letter (our details are at the foot of this page);
  2. Information we will need from you:
    - your full name;
    - your full address including your postcode;
    - your home telephone number and a number which we can contact you on during normal office hours if this is different;
    - your email address (if applicable), and;
    - how you would like us to respond to you.
