Health & safety inspections
Summary
We carry out risk-based inspections of all businesses, to make sure that they meet their requirements under the Health and Safety at Work Act, to employees and members of the public. The exceptions are large industrial complexes, local authority premises and building sites - these are handled by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) - call 01603 615711 or visit the HSE website [external link].
