Composting Association
This UK not for profit organisation is dedicated to promoting composting and good management. This website has a wide range of resources available. Membership is required to access some of the resources.
Community composting network
This organisation is a network of over 230 community-composting groups. It provides information, guidance and support to new and existing community composting groups. Membership costs £25 for community composting groups. Highly recommended.
HDRA The Organic Association
This site is dedicated to researching and promoting organic farming, gardening and food. It has a range of good composting information.
Organic resource agency
A consultancy, engineering and research group specialising in sustainable waste management. Their research includes the Green Leaf project.
Green Leaf project
The Green leaf project was established to investigate the agricultural use of compost and the development of on-farm composting techniques. The project aims to divert biodegradable green waste away from landfill within Norfolk to comply with the requirements of the UK waste strategy and the EU landfill Directive.
