Food safety inspections
Summary
We carry out risk-based inspections of all businesses manufacturing or producing food for human consumption. We give a Top Spot Award to those businesses which meet or exceed the high standards in food safety legislation. We inspect all licensed premises in the district - find out more about Food Premises Licenses.
We carry out separate inspections to make sure business premises meet the requirementsof the Health and Safety at work Act - see Health & safety inspections for details.
