Environmental Service charges
Summary
For some environmental services we charge a small fee to cover the cost of service delivery, or a contribution towards service delivery. Download the rates for domestic and commercial customers by following the links below - the full set of fees are also published underneath these links.
For those of you on pension credit, council tax or housing benefits, special rates may be available as part of the Low Income Discounted Charges (LIDC).

Large bulky items |
£27 for up to five items, then £5 for each additional item. Low Income Discounted Charges (LIDC) £10.80 for up to five items plus £5 for each additional item. LIDC restricted to 1 collection in a 12 month rolling period. |

CFC appliances (e.g. Refrigerators & freezers) |
To be included as part of bulky waste collection where possible. Single item charge of £12.50 per item. LIDC £7.50 for the first item then full price for any further collections in a 12 month rolling period. |

Refuse/recycling clear sacks |
£6.20 per roll of 60 sacks. |

Garden waste bins |
£42 a year. |
