Light pollution

Summary

'Nuisance light' is artificial light from a man-made source. This could include household lighting, security lighting, floodlighting, street lighting, advertising & display lighting and building illumination.

We can investigate light pollution complaints, but there are some exceptions. Our light pollution factsheet explains what we can investigate, and includes details of how to make a complaint.
