Acupuncture, tattoo & piercing licences

Summary

If you run or intend to run a business providing acupuncture, tattooing, ear piercing or electrolysis in South Norfolk, by law you must register with us and get the appropriate licence. There's a fee for this licence, which is listed on our Environmental Service charges page.

How to apply for a licence/get advice

  1. Choose the right application form listed under printable forms;
  2. Download the form
  3. Fill in the application form, making sure that you give us all the information we are asking for;
  4. Send the application form and the correct payment to Environment, Health and Leisure, South Norfolk Council, South Norfolk House, Swan Lane, Long Stratton, South Norfolk NR15 2XE. Please do not send cash. Cheques should be made payable to South Norfolk Council.
