About this strategy

To date we have not properly addressed the specific needs of Gypsies and Travellers. South Norfolk, along the other six local authorities in Norfolk and the County Council, have either adopted or endorsed ‘A Strategy for Gypsies and Travellers in Norfolk 2005-8’.

The Strategy is a comprehensive document that shows how agencies and authorities are working together in order to provide services that are accessible to Gypsies and Travellers. There is also an Action Plan that outlines the commitment by all the key partners in the form of targets over a three-year period. The Gypsy and Traveller Liaison Group will review these targets annually.
