Grants for work to protected trees

We offer a grant to help with work required to look after trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO). This is offered through the Community Environmental Grants scheme, and a maximum of 40% of the cost may be given. Two quotes are required and funds are limited on an annual basis.

How to apply for the grant

  1. Download the application form (link below) and print it out;
  2. Complete the form, which asks for:
    - some details about you;
    - details about the tree(s) and the work you want to do, and;
    - two quotes you have had for the work.
  3. Sign & date the declaration;
  4. Send the form to the Conservation & Landscape Team at the address at the foot of this page (also included on the form).
