Comedy musical trio Pluck are providing a fabulous finale to South Norfolk Council’s successful summer festival on Wednesday 23 September at Diss Auction Rooms.
The three will compete, argue, scheme and ridicule their way through everything from Bach to the Beetles in what is a unique performance billed as ‘Musical Arson’.
There will also be the chance for a behind-the-scenes tour of TW Gaze’s Auction Rooms where guests get a sneak preview of a special film and pop memorabilia auction, taking place on 26 September.
Deputy Leader Councillor Martin Wilby said:
“Pluck is the perfect way to end our Festival as it will really send us out on a high note! It’s ideal for families and the auction rooms provide the perfect setting.
“The festival has been an unprecedented success, with many events selling out. It’s been absolutely fantastic to see so many families coming together, really enjoying themselves and experiencing new things.
“We have showcased the best of what South Norfolk has to offer and our efforts have given local businesses and tourism a boost.”
Local and international entertainers have performed to sell-out crowds across the district with visitors flocking to heritage sites, attractions, stately homes and countryside locations to catch the entertainment.
Live music, comedy, outdoor theatre, opera, dance, enactments, art exhibitions, family events and more made the summer memorable.
Earlier in the year Pluck wowed the crowds when they performed to a sell out audience at the New Woolsey Theatre in Ipswich.
Tickets for Pluck cost £9, concessions £7, to book call 01603 630000 or visit www.south-norfolk.gov.uk/festival. There will be a fully licensed bar offering refreshments and doors open at 7pm.
