D-Day for Design Awards approaches

The deadline for nominations to this year's prestigious South Norfolk Design Awards is closing fast.
Every year, it attracts entries from some of the best Norfolk architects, designers and developers, and organisers are expecting the same in 2009.
Closing date is Monday 21 September 2009 and the awards will be made on 20 November.
Previous winners include Wymondham College, the Woodland Burial Park at Colney and the Roman Catholic Church, Wymondham as well as futuristic sustainably designed homes.
The categories are new building, a building extension, repair, restoration or conversion, or landscape design. More details are at www.south-norfolk.gov.uk.
A panel of councillors and officers with an external assessor nominated by the Norfolk Association of Architects on behalf of the Royal Institute of British Architects will pick the winners.
