Further information

The Community Reference will give parish and town councils, Neighbourhood Action Panels and the South Norfolk Alliance the right to bring items of local wider concern to the Council where they do not have the power or the resources to deal with it themselves. The Scrutiny Committee of South Norfolk Council, or the relevant overview sub-committee, will investigate issues raised (if appropriate) on behalf of the parish or town.

If you wish to raise a topic, please use the online form. All forms received will be acknowledged within 5 working days. The Chairman of Scrutiny will then assess the topic within 15 working days. The Scrutiny Committee will either accept it for consideration, or a reply will be sent saying why the topic will not be considered. The body raising the issue will be kept informed at all stages of the process.
