Bullock Fair Close car park gets a facelift
Released on 20 August 2008
South Norfolk Council is about to start a refurbishment of the Bullock Fair Close car park in Harleston.
The work is part of a £60,000 investment in Harleston, and will include resurfacing work, general improvements and resiting of the recycling facilities.
Work starts on Tuesday 26 August and is expected to take two weeks to complete. During this time there will be a reduced number of parking spaces available.
The car park's recycling facilities will be closed from Wednesday 20 August to Friday 12 September, although the recycling centre at Wilderness Lane will remain open.
South Norfolk Council Leader John Fuller said:
“This work is part of a major investment in Harleston to improve safety and security at the car park, after which the Town Council will lease it and be responsible for its maintenance.”
