Our proposal for four unitary councils

Summary

Front covers of Vision for Norfolk & Best4Norfolk

Best4Norfolk: four unitary councils for the county

In April 2008 we sent our second proposal document to the Boundary Committee, with more detailed information about our proposal for four unitary councils in Norfolk, called Best4Norfolk. In May 2008 we responded to the Boundary Committee's request for further information on our proposal, giving more detailed information on the bid. (Download the questions we were asked from the Boundary Committee website [external link, opens in a new window] .)

Best4Norfolk is addendum to A Vision for Norfolk, our first proposal written in November 2007.

Download all these documents by following the links below. You can also download high resolution versions of the maps in the first 'Vision for Norfolk' proposal, which show the proposed new council boundaries.

Our proposal will be considered by the Boundary Committee as part of its Structural review of Norfolk and Suffolk.

Warning! Large file size

Both proposals contain a lot of maps and images, and may take some time to download. The 'Best4Norfolk' document in particular is a large file and even with a broadband Internet connection will take some time to load.

You can also download the chapters of the Best4Norfolk document as separate downloads, if you have trouble downloading the whole file in one go.
