Statutory information
We are required to make a statement in relation to the Code of Practice on Workforce Matters in Local Authority Service Contracts. We have included information here on three performance indicators that were “reserved” following the audit of our performance plan last year.
Appendix A: Best Value Performance Indicators
These are the national measures of performance that we are required to report annually in our performance plan.
We have reported:
- Our performance for 2005-06;
- Our Performance for the previous three years;
- Our targets for 2006-07 and the following two years;
- How our performance compare with:
- The national average for district councils;
- The district councils most like ourselves ( "nearest neighbour" );
- The Norfolk average.
Appendix B: Local Performance Indicators
We have supplemented the national performance measures with local ones of our own that reflect local priorities.
