Final call for design champions

South Norfolk Council Design Champion, Councillor Martin Wynne, has made a final call to join one of Norfolk's top awards.
The final date for nominations to the South Norfolk Design Awards 2007 is August 31.
Councillor Wynne is keen to make sure no one misses out.
All local amenity societies, applicants and agents who have submitted five or more planning applications in the last two years, local architects and landscape architects and all members of the Norfolk Association of Architects have been contacted about the awards.
Last year, Cromer architect James Bond took top prize after judges were won over by his transformation of a former industrial unit in Hales into a stunning new sustainable home with a roof of evergreen, drought-tolerant sedum plants.
As ever, entries will be judged by a panel of Councillors and Officers and an external assessor nominated by the Norfolk Association of Architects on behalf of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Their decision is final.
