Scrutiny: the Council's watchdog
Our Scrutiny Committee, along with the Overview Sub-committees, aims to improve the services we provide. The Overview Sub-committees suggest new policies or review existing ones, and recommend changes. The Scrutiny Committee monitors and can question any council decisions, and makes recommendations on how we deliver our services.
